Different Types of CBD
There are three types of CBD extracts, and here we’ll give a short explainer of each one…

Other Things To Know
There are other things to know about CBD oil before you should know how it makes you feel.
What are Cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are the naturally occurring compounds found in the Cannabis Sativa plant. The main two cannabinoids of note are CBD and THC, and they interact with specific cannabinoid receptors in human’s central nervous system to produce different effects on our system.
What are Terpenes?
Terpenes is another word we’ve already mentioned a couple of times, so we think it’s a good idea for you to understand exactly what they are. Basically, terpenes are fragrant oils found in the cannabis plant, and they give flavour to CBD oil. There are 400 known terpenes and each one and a mixture of them influences the effect you’ll get from your CBD oil.
How Does CBD Oil Make You Feel?
The first thing to note is that CBD oil does not and will not make you feel high. As already stated, THC is the cannabinoid that gets you high, so if that’s what you’re after, you’re reading the wrong article.
The fact is CBD oil can have many different effects on your system, and they can even be unique in each person. The effects are determined by things such as the dosage, the strain of hemp, where and how the plant is grown, and how your own system will react.
When taking CBD oil it takes about 15 minutes for it to start working if you take it sublingually. You can take CBD oil in other forms, but this is the most popular way as it gets into your system quicker.
Once it starts to work, there’s usually a calming effect on the mind and body, and stronger strains are known to cause light-headedness, but this quickly diffuses as the CBD gets into your bloodstream.
Some people also say that CBD makes them feel more alert with a clear head. While others feel more at ease and even an uplifting feeling that helps them get through their day in a much more productive way.
Other people are known to sleep much better, and it’s also reported to help cut nightmares, a condition suffered by Parkinson’s Disease patients.
How Does CBD Oil Work?
CBD activates our Endocannabinoid system (ECS), a vast network of chemical signals and cellular receptors that are densely packed throughout our brains and bodies. It does so by connecting with cannabinoid receptors: CB1 And CB2 within our peripheral and central nervous systems.
The CB1 and CB2 receptors control the levels and activity of most of our other neurotransmitters. And so when CBD connects with them it helps them regulate our system by turning up or down whichever system needs adjusting.

What Is The Best CBD Oil?
We sell many different types and brands of CBD oil here at CBD Vendibles, and all are fully regulated and are recommended. However, there are some things you should look out for...
Non-GMO and Organic: You want your CBD oil to be free from pesticides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers and solvents, so look out for non-GMO and organic on the label.
The Concentration: There should be a lab certificate showing the amount of CBD in the product. The lowest is about 300mg (3%), and you can get up to 5000mg in the UK. It's always worth trying with a low concentration, under 1200mg at first and get a stronger concentration as you get used to it.
Supercritical CO2 Extraction: This is an extraction method to separate various components from the plant, producing a pure, clean, and safe product. It's the cleanest, purest, non-toxic and most efficient method of extracting CBD, but it is expensive and any CBD using this method will be more expensive.
